Experiences for 2026
What's new for 2026 experiences at the distillery?
The distillery has introduced another way to make your own gin with the Gin Blending Workshop and new Sip & Learn sessions which change every few months to a new topic with two available. We've also improved how Anytime Activities can be purchased online with vouchers available for every experience. Plus you can now purchase value based vouchers that can be used against any experience online.
Gin Blending workshop
In this workshop, you'll craft a unique bottle of gin - first starting with a delicious Scottish Gin base (distilled with Macedonian Juniper, Moroccan Coriander, French Angelica, Orris) and then choose from a varied and flavourful selection of botanical extractions to create something truly special. Customise your label and wow your friends - your very own unique bottle of distilled Scottish Gin ready to take home.
Starting with a double G&T and a brief introduction, you'll soon learn about the different ways gin are made, the wide range of botanicals used to create an interesting flavour journey, how flavours are carried, and discover how to craft your very own Scottish Gin.
Once your gin has been blended, you'll be invited to customise your very own label and give your gin a name.
New for 2026 and available from March - book today to reserve your spot.
Not only that, but from March onwards you can also opt for the Gin Blending Workshop by choosing a scheduled experience (run at specific dates / times) but also as an Anytime Activity for the ultimate flexibility.
Sip & Learn - a new class of experiences - starting March 2026
The Sip and Learn series is brand new for 2026. It aims to be educational and fun - experience new flavours while learning all about the fascinating landscape of alcoholic beverages. Book quickly though - each Sip & Learn topic has limited availability and is only available for 2 months at a time.
Sip & Learn - Gin Terroir
The French word "terroir" relates to how an environment (location, soil, topography, climate) affects flavour / quality of something. The best example of this is wine - depending on where the grapes are grown, this will dramatically change the aroma, flavour and experience of a wine made with exactly the same variety of grapes.
Did you know? It's exactly the same with gin botanicals as well.
In this Sip & Learn session you'll have the opportunity to try a variety of both single distillates and full gin recipes - discover how North Macedonian Juniper differs from Italian Juniper. Delight also in tasting coriander from different countries as well. Later on in the session you'll also try various gins featuring some of these botanicals.
Limited availability - March / April / May 2026 only.
Sip & Learn - Blend a glass
In this Sip & Learn session, you'll have the opportunity to try single distillates of botanicals from around the world and create your very own blending glass of gin from a range of different botanical distillates - craft a unique flavour to excite and delight.
The French word "terroir" relates to how an environment (location, soil, topography, climate) affects flavour / quality. Did you know? It's exactly the same with gin botanicals as well? Try botanicals from different countries and see which one you prefer.
In addition, you'll be invited to sample other distillates of botanicals from our flavour library and taste a variety of intriguing flavours.
Limited availability - June / July / August 2026 only.
