What's new on the website?
21/04/2025 - Improvements - Booking page
We're always listening to feedback. We had a question from a customer who wanted to know when our next event was. Then we discovered that it wasn't as easy as it could be for customers to easily see what's on without going into each individual event.
The improvement - we have an introduced two updates to make it easier for our customers - firstly, a dedicated What's on page where upcoming events are listed - this make it easy to plan a visit ahead of time. For those visitors who are looking for something to do today / tomorrow, we added an indicator for when the next event is taking place. Under the appropriate experience, it will clearly indicate if there is an experience today, tomorrow, the day (<7 days) or the date if further into the future.
We hope this change will make it easier for those visiting for the day / a few days e.g. cruise ships, weekends to easily and quickly hone in on the ways they can enjoy the offerings of the distillery.
April 2025 - Branded gin - bespoke labels / gin
Have you ever wanted a gin that features your own label design?
A delicious bottle of Aberdeen Gin featuring a completely unique, customised label.
The contents of the bottle can be chosen from our range of locally distilled Aberdeen Gins. Or take advantage of our designer gin service.
April 2025 - Business focus - Consultation
If you'd like to have a consultation with staff at the distillery, we'd love to hear from you and listen to how we can help. Whether this is to achieve a specific goal or you'd like to tap our years of knowledge in the drinks sector. Topics can be wide ranging - you might be setting up your own business (perhaps a drinks business), wish to pitch your sales, require assistance, web development techniques, keen to run a successful drinks experience, label design, factory processes, drinks sector advice etc.
April 2025 - Corporate focus - Services
A dedicated page outlining the distillery services available.
These services include branded gin, label production, bespoke gin development, artwork assistance and more.
2025 - Customer focus - Anytime Activities
A new range of Anytime Activities has been added to the website.
These are open to anyone to participate in, at any time, so long as we have availability, and have been introduced as a way to cater for those visitors who are visiting in solo-small-medium groups and may not have any set plans or wish to visit when there are no scheduled events running.

2025 - Brand new website
Our website has been completely re-written in cutting edge technology and complimenting a globally recognised / successful e-commerce platform.
Initially serving a port of the previous website, foundations have been laid for data driven content and feature rich solutions.
Advantages
- Lightening fast pages - most pages load in <1 seconds (typically less than half a second).
- Responsive - the shell of a web page first loads (small file size) and therefore loads really fast, even on mobiles - the content is then streamed dynamically - this results in a very responsive website that does what you tell it...quickly.
- Mobile friends - the website is designed to work well on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles.
- Data driven content - our events, list of gins, availability of gins etc are all data driven from the platform and delivered - this makes the website very easy to administer. We can create our own data pages, components and update content on the go - meaning we're always able to amend the website no matter what and the changes are reflected within minutes.
- Future proof - we'll be adding brand new features to the website in the coming months - many of which are highly functional with demanding requirements - not a problem - we have full control over the development of the website from the ground up. Also, as the underlying e-commerce platform improves access to new features, we're able to leverage the full potential of the website. We can build anything we need to for a great experience and new features we hope customers will love.
