Design your own Scottish Gin
Overview
Have you ever dreamed of designing your very own Scottish Gin?
You can now visit the distillery and choose from over 100 botanicals including fresh citrus to design your perfect 70cl bottle of gin.
Once you've chosen your botanicals, your recipe will be expertly distilled by the Head Distiller who will draw on years of experience to balance the quantity of botanicals to distil your gin (while also taking your preferences into consideration). Gins are typically ready to collect same / next day.
If the Head Distiller is free at the time, you'll be offered the option of waiting for your gin to be ready (approximately 40 minutes) - we recommend purchasing a Flight of Fancy while you wait and explore the flavours of gin through taste.
This activity is for guests who are 18+ (ages 13+ are welcome to accompany).
New for 2026 - decorate your bottle with one of our standard labels, or take advantage of our new personalised bottle designer - simply choose "label only" during the process and we'll print your personalised label in advance. Take a look at our Online label designer.

How to book
Anytime Activities are run on demand and operate during shop opening times. Simply walk in and request to do your preferred activity.
Group sizes
Anytime Activities operate with a minimum of 2 people and up to 12 people. If your group is larger than 12 people, get in touch and we'll be happy to put on an exclusive event with the full range of experiences to choose from and at your preferred time.
Important notes
The operation of Anytime Activities are subject to availability e.g. if we are closed or running an experience, this might limit the times available.
We recommend checking opening times in advance of your visit. If you drop us an e-mail and we'll be happy to check availability around your preferred date/time - or you can leave it to chance on the day if you're exploring the city.
