Cocktail - Apple pie and custard

The Cocktail

Nostalgic, completely nostalgic. This won't last long—just like real apple pie and custard.

What you'll need

  • 1½ shots (37.5ml) Clove Gin
  • ½ shot (12.5ml) Amaretto
  • ½ shot (12.5ml) Gomme
  • 1 whole egg (for that custard texture)
  • Cinnamon powder & Apple slice
  • Equipment: Shaker, Ice, Julep/tea strainer, Coupette glass

Step by step

  1. Prepare a chilled coupette glass.
  2. Add all ingredients to a shaker. Pro tip: "Dry shake" without ice first to emulsify the egg, then add ice and shake again to chill.
  3. Double strain into the chilled glass.
  4. Add the dehydrated apple slice garnish.
  5. Place a few drops of Clove Gin directly onto the apple garnish.
  6. Finish with a generous dash of cinnamon powder.
  7. Enjoy!
