Cocktail - Apple pie and custard
The Cocktail
Nostalgic, completely nostalgic. This won't last long—just like real apple pie and custard.
What you'll need
- ► 1½ shots (37.5ml) Clove Gin
- ► ½ shot (12.5ml) Amaretto
- ► ½ shot (12.5ml) Gomme
- ► 1 whole egg (for that custard texture)
- ► Cinnamon powder & Apple slice
- Equipment: Shaker, Ice, Julep/tea strainer, Coupette glass
Step by step
- Prepare a chilled coupette glass.
- Add all ingredients to a shaker. Pro tip: "Dry shake" without ice first to emulsify the egg, then add ice and shake again to chill.
- Double strain into the chilled glass.
- Add the dehydrated apple slice garnish.
- Place a few drops of Clove Gin directly onto the apple garnish.
- Finish with a generous dash of cinnamon powder.
