Travel trade

Scotland is ready, Aberdeen is excited.

Aberdeen welcomes our friends in the Travel Trade industry and we at the distillery can't wait to entertain your clients and open up the world of Scottish Gin in a fun and engaging way.

Welcoming guests from all around the world

The City of Aberdeen Distillery is the first distillery in Aberdeen City for over 80 years. The distillery is owned and run by two friends Dan and Alan. The experiences we offer are led by the Head Distiller.

Your clients can distil their very own bottle of Scottish Gin within a historic railway arch in the heart of Aberdeen City. The distillery also offers tours including an exploration of the production areas and the Gin Tasting Masterclasses where clients can explore flavour through taste (a most enjoyable way to learn all about gin, botanicals and distilling!).

All experiences include a double G&T on arrival, a tasting of the range of locally distilled gins and led by the Head Distiller.

What's new for 2026?

  • New experience added - Gin & Sip - streamlined version of the Discovery Tour - includes G&T (single), short gin talk, 3+ samples, Q&A session. Duration: 30 minutes.
  • New experience added - Sip & Learn - new from March 2026 – a gin tasting with an educational focus on a specific topic. E.g. the Gin Terroir session offers clients the chance to try distillates from different countries to taste how location changes the flavour. Includes a gin tasting of various Aberdeen Gins and an additional G&T (single). Duration: 2 hours.
  • New experience / activity added - Gin Blending Workshop - new from March 2026 – clients create their own 70cl bottle of gin to take home…by blending flavours. Their gin starts as a base recipe. A unique flavour profile achieved by blending in botanical flavour extracts (which they are invited to choose by first tasting). Includes a welcome G&T (double) and samples from the range of Aberdeen Gins. Duration: 1 hour.
